THE SPIRITUALITY OF ART AND THE ART OF SPIRITUALITY:
a 14 week process that
1) integrates your spirituality and creativity
2) uses each to nurture the other.

We meet in a group phone call. No computer or special equipment needed. Just dial your phone.

First meeting, we each pick a creative project to work on for the duration of the process. It can be large or wee, and can consist of quilting, beading, “fine art,” or whatever else you want. If you cannot choose a project, I’ll help.

You needn’t be a skilled artist or craftsperson. THE SPIRITUALITY OF ART AND THE ART OF SPIRITUALITY (TSOA) is about bringing art and life together, and what that creates within us. Whether you’re a pro or just want to try your hand at some kind of art or craft, this experiential process is useful.

Each meeting there’s an exercise that 1) heightens creativity and 2) draws on your creative project to deepen your spirituality. You also receive exercises to do between meetings—these methods turn your time crocheting (painting, singing, or . . .) into spiritual connectivity that frees the soul and increases self-expression.

Beginner moi (discovered not even 2 years ago I can draw and paint) is trying my hand at graphic art for my announcements. I used Procreate—an awesome app—to calligraph over a photograph of a paper cutting I made.

Creativity brings me to the ground of my being—the Divine. When I feel there’s no time for anything but survival, it’s doubly important to make time for spirituality and art, and bring the two together. It lifts me out of fear and the mundane, into connectivity and wholeness. And I suddenly see creative ways to deal with life problems. The TSOA process helps others do all this. I’ll draw on time-honored shamanic methods, as well as modalities I created that, for 25 years, have helped people fully, freely, and happily claim their inner fire.

The group meets every other WEDNESDAY for a total of seven meetings, starting APRIL 4. The meeting goes from 6:00 PM (EST) TO 6:55. RESERVE WEDS, JULY 11, SAME TIME, for a makeup class in case I’m unavailable for one of the planned sessions.

The training is without prerequisites and involves no religious doctrine. This is about your spirituality, whatever that may be. This group can be used as one of the electives required to participate in Third Road Advanced Shamanic Training.

TUITION is $250. TO REGISTER, sign up for “Special Event” at http://www.well.com/user/zthirdrd/specialevent.html  You might pay long-distance charges, depending on your long-distance plan. If so, they appear on your phone bill. The event’s area code is a U.S. #.

Repeat this class at half-price. If you’ve taken TSOA, go to www.paypal.com * Log into your account * Click Send Money tab. * Use outlawbunny@outlawbunny.com as the Recipients Email. * Fill in the amount of $125 * Put the following in the notes section: “repeating TSOA”; your name; your phone #.

Upon receipt of payment, your place is reserved, and event details emailed to you. No refunds. I reserve the right to terminate anyone’s involvement in an event at any time; in which case, there is a prorated refund, minus $30 for registration.

I’ve done this work a long time, but not always defined it as such. So here is info about my qualification: I taught myself to play my first instrument at age fourteen, then immediately started performing in a major metropolitan area’s clubs. I’ve toured the U.S., indie-produced a best-selling music album, and taught creative process to newbies and pros in a variety of artistic fields. I believe we’re all skilled in one genre or another, given the right support. When Multiple Sclerosis made holding a guitar too difficult, I took up mandolin. My focus also shifted to visual art (see outlawbunny.etsy.com ).

If u need more info, can’t use PayPal, or want to discuss scholarship or trade, call me: 814-337-2490. Don’t email; disabilities = I can’t discuss events by email.

I’ve been on your list for a few years now, but for lack of time, money, and spoons, have never registered for anything before. And since I know it’s usually announcements of things I can’t participate in, I admit your mails usually get filtered to a folder I check only occasionally. But tonight’s message just happened to come through unfiltered and it seems so perfectly targeted to me, I couldn’t resist. All logic says I still can’t afford it; I seem perennially stuck believing in wonder despite all the evidence to the contrary — and there’s a lot of evidence to the contrary, and a whole lot of forces telling me I’m a fool to believe. I keep trying anyway, but especially right now, I need all the help I can get! Thank you so much for offering this on a sliding scale.

Thanks so much for posting, my pleasure. Yup, sounds like a meant-to-be. Also, I give scholarships for almost all my events and, since u get my newsletter, you get announcements of that, as well as of my free events. See above paragraph that discusses scholarships. Blessings in yr journey.

To someone reading these comments later: this particular page holds temporary posts so, in a while, the paragraph I refer may not be there anymore, heck, the page might be offering a free   event.
